Molly & The Chromatics are a New Zealand band hailing from Auckland's north shore.
Their debut album 'Pressure Moving' was released in 2021. The album was predominantly written at Lake Tarawera at the end of 2019. More songs were written and recorded over the course of 2020 during the first lockdown and beyond, in times of unease and uncertainty. Most of the lyrics and writing follow themes of transition, change, anxiety, fear, frustration, heartbreak, vulnerability. But what ties the album together is the sentiment that these emotions are temporary, the cloud does lift, and eventually passes, hence ‘Pressure Moving’.
On top of album design, I have also created poster and single artwork on an ongoing basis.
